Library is not just collection of books but also of ideas, thoughts, belief and virtues. Our main motto of providing library facility is to build character and intellect of our students. Library at GJAV offers a huge collection of more than 10,000 books on various subjects and books are increasing every year.
Our collection includes books based on all subjects, fiction, storytelling, general knowledge & current affairs, dictionaries, biographies of imminent personalities, encyclopedia, audio-visual books, both in Hindi and English, etc. We also provide magazines and news paper of international repute.
We want to make library an integral part of our students learning process within school campus. Library runs under the supervision of two experienced librarians who keeps the library well maintained. All books are bar coded and duly stamped.
Library card has been issued to students from class III to class XII. Librarians help students in selecting books as per their reading interest and efficiently maintain the record of book issued & returned from students and staff. It is mandatory for all students to go to library at-least once a week, though it remains open on all working days.
